Remember how completely uncomplicated it seemed and how incredibly consuming it could be? We all have those loves we clung to when we should have let them go. Or, perhaps we let them go when we should have held on to them. If we’re lucky…we’re given a second chance to recognize that kind of love as being worthy of nurturing, even if we must revive it in order to do so…this is one of those loves……

Four came into port that year; blue, white, red and black. The original bill of sale; $2,300.00. The white one was acquired for my husband this summer, the guy with the "Volvo love" who claims; he’ll never own anything but a Volvo...and... has occupied much of my personal time....Seems to be contagious.....

In beautiful condition, though needing tender loving care, as most anything approaching fifty does. Fortunately, unconditional love doesn’t expect perfection. With the exception of its paint, and three gages which were common to add, she is totally original and pleasingly road worthy.

When she came home.

Twelve hours later....and......

I’ve come to the conclusion; dirt must be some sort of wonderful preservative!

One week later...

So...whether your summer love has a heartbeat or just makes yours beat a little faster, whether you revive an old one or find a new one, here’s wishing you all your own kind of summer love, whatever and wherever it may be…..

Kindest everyone,

Amazing. Ron showed me some photos when in Rangeley and told me you were getting right to the fun stuff. The best thing about buying machinery used, is the cleaning and reconditioning. It's like you give a much needed release of pressure for both yourself and the vehicle, when you make that first wipe. What a beautiful piece of work!

Pictures do not show and words can not express how hard you have worked on the car and my gratitude for that work you have done. You have brought forth the true provenance of that car.

Thank you,

Ron

The car is definitely amazing. If anything could be more amazing, it's the Comet. You should send those photos in to be in a commercial or something!

Too cool!

Aw..gee..thanks...it was a difficult choice that week-end, but my germ-a-phobic obsessive compulsive nature kind of won out. Of course, a guy with a garage like yours would certainly understand that!! ;)
